1. The Agony of Jesus in the Garden
And being in anguish, He prayed more earnestly, and His sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground. When He rose from prayer and went back to the disciples, He found them asleep, exhausted from sorrow. (Luke 22: 44-45)

2. The Scourging at the Pillar
Wanting to satisfy the crowd, Pilate released Barabbas to them. He had Jesus scourged, and handed Him over to be crucified. (Mark 15:15)

3. Jesus is Crowned with Thorns
They stripped Him and put a scarlet robe on Him, and then twisted a crown of thorns and set it on His head. They put a staff in his right hand, knelt in front of Him and mocked Him. “Hail, king of the Jews!” they said. (Matthew 27:28-29)

4. Jesus Carried the Cross
They took Jesus. Carrying His own cross, Jesus went out to the place of the skull, which is called in Hebrew, Golgotha. (John 19:17)

5. The Crucifixion of our Lord
Jesus, crying with a loud voice, said, “Father, into Your hands I commit My spirit!” And having said this, He breathed His last. (Luke 23:46)
