Joyful Mysteries of Rosary

1. The Annunciation of the Lord to Mary

“Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favour with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus.”  (Luke 1:30-31)

Fruit of the Mystery: Humility

2. Visit of Mary to Elizabeth

“Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb! And why is this granted to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?”  (Luke 1:42-43)

Fruit of the Mystery: Love of Neighbour

3. The Birth of our Lord Jesus Christ

Mary gave birth to her first-born Son and wrapped Him in swaddling clothes, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.   (Luke 2:7)

4. The Presentation of our Lord

And when the time of their purification according to the Law of Moses had been completed, Joseph and Mary took Jesus to Jerusalem to present Him to the Lord.  (Luke 2:22-23)

Fruit of the Mystery : Obedience 

5. The Finding of Jesus in the Temple at age 12

After three days they found him in the temple courts, sitting amongst the teachers, both listening to them and asking them questions.  (Luke 2:46)
